The Water-Ways Workshop was an academic event exploring the dialogue between the waterscapes of Venice and Asia. Commemorating the 800th anniversary of Marco Polo’s Silk Road journey, I developed a cohesive visual identity that synthesized these vast cultural realms across social media, event merch, and printed programs. The system features typography inspired by historical maps and key illustrations drawn from traditional Japanese styles.
